TS-Optics GSO 8" f/12 Cassegrain hyperbolic telescope

Cassegrain telescopes combine the advantages of a Newtonian telescope by being a pure reflective system with a short build design. In terms of optical quality, Cassegrain telescopes are superior to usual Schmidt-Cassegrain systems. Cassegrain telescopes are mainly used for photography of the moon and planets and for observing astronomical objects. As a result of the 99% reflection of the primary and secondary mirrors, the image is significantly brighter. The field sharpness is also better, because the image field is basically flat.
