By applying iOptron's decades of experience in creating precision mounts, the HAE43 makes this vision a reality.
Utilizing cutting-edge strain wave gear technology for RA and DEC motion, the HAE43s offer unprecedented weight for payload efficiency. Its black anodized metal CNC machined body isn't just appealing to the eye, it's a rugged platform that will perform at the highest levels for many years to come. Unique features like an electronic friction brake and power-off memory allow the mount to safely stop and resume a GoTo rotation or continue tracking even after an abrupt loss of power (no need to realign and start over).
A HAE43 mount can be controlled from a computer, via ASCOM/Commander for a Windows PC or a third-party INDI driver for MacOS software; a SmartPhone/Tablet via iOptron Commander Lite or an App such as SkySafari; or a Raspberry Pi device via INDI driver.
The HAE43EC features a high-precision RA-axis encoder that offers incredible tracking accuracy, so much so that many will choose to view "unguided" images.
The counterweight shaft for SkyTracker Pro (product # 51902 ) also fits this iOptron mount.
