NiSi 15mm f/4 ASPH wide-angle lens
All the NiSi optical experience is expressed in the NiSi 15mm f/4 ASPH ultra wide-angle lens. An objective that focuses on first-rate characteristics, focusing attention on what matters, that is, the quality of the materials and the quality of the glass.
Full metal barrel, optical glass for precision applications for excellent sharpness across the entire frame, construction with 12 elements in 10 groups and one aspherical and two very low dispersion elements are just some of the features of the NiSi 15mm f/4 ASPH. Below are the main features:
- Compatible with both cameras Full Frame both with APS-C (15mm focal length on Full Frame, 22mm on APS-C)
- Mechanical ring for continuous aperture adjustment
- An aspherical element And two very low dispersion , in optical glass for precision applications
- 10-blade diaphragm , designed to optimize light at any aperture
- Generous focal range , 112° on Full-Frame, closer to the 14/14.5mm focal length
- Minimum focusing distance of 20cm, for shots with very close subjects
- Distortion contained and reduced to a minimum
- 72mm front thread allows use with both circular filters and the 100mm NiSi system for sheet filters
Opening with 10 slats
The diaphragm has been designed with 10 blades with a straight profile to obtain the star effect on the points of light at any aperture, as well as maximizing sharpness across the entire frame and aperture range. Furthermore, there is a mechanical diaphragm ring, with the possibility of manual and continuous adjustment, perfect for precise adjustment and for video use.
NiSi sharpness and optical quality
Thanks to a proprietary design of 12 elements in 10 groups, with 1 aspherical element and 2 very low dispersion elements, sharpness is very high, with good performance even at the edges. Anti-reflection treatment reduces flare and internal reflections. The NiSi 15mm f/4 ASPH lens was also designed for architecture, containing optical distortion.
All NiSi filters at your disposal
The NiSi 15mm f/4 ASPH lens has a 72mm front thread, making it compatible with both circular filters 72mm NiSi, both with the System 100 for plate filters. Together with NiSi V6 with Landscape Polarizer , filters ND 100×100 And GND 100×150 you will get the highest quality and flexibility for your photos.

All the NiSi quality at this price?
The production of a lens is very complex: many people, suppliers and skills are involved (many more than a filter, for example). The easiest way to create a new product is to use third-party knowledge as much as possible and then apply a brand and markup. NiSi, however, once again chose a different path managing the project internally as much as possible . This allows us to achieve a great advantage for the end customer: reducing costs.
The more complex the product, the more we will be able to save resources by managing it internally. This involves higher than average development times, but the result obtained will be of the quality that distinguishes NiSi products and more economical.
Here we are for the NiSi 15mm f/4 ASPH lens focus on what really matters: glass, metal and as little electronics as possible. Although dozens of "smart" lenses are available today, we believe that the fundamental aspects are the ones to invest in as they are those that make a product of superior quality, which for us are always optical quality, construction accuracy and ease of use . The fact of not using autofocus, stabilization and other electronic aids has allowed us to offer this lens at a price that we consider fair. The quality of the optical glass in the lens is the same as what NiSi customers have become accustomed to in our filters. As always, our ultimate goal is to provide our customers with professional products at reasonable prices.
