NiSi 15mm f/4 ASPH wide-angle lens

Opening with 10 slats

The diaphragm has been designed with 10 blades with a straight profile to obtain the star effect on the points of light at any aperture, as well as maximizing sharpness across the entire frame and aperture range. Furthermore, there is a mechanical diaphragm ring, with the possibility of manual and continuous adjustment, perfect for precise adjustment and for video use.

NiSi sharpness and optical quality

Thanks to a proprietary design of 12 elements in 10 groups, with 1 aspherical element and 2 very low dispersion elements, sharpness is very high, with good performance even at the edges. The production of a lens is very complex: many people, suppliers and skills are involved (many more than a filter, for example). The easiest way to create a new product is to use third-party knowledge as much as possible and then apply a brand and markup. NiSi, however, once again chose a different path managing the project internally as much as possible . This allows us to achieve a great advantage for the end customer: reducing costs.
