Description
The optical system N 150/750 : this versatile Newtonian telescope offers both the beginner and the expert amateur astronomer lots of light and great stability at a low price. The remarkable diameter of 150 mm collects so much light that even distant deep-sky objects are visible, such as the Ring Nebula in the constellation Lyra, or the Dumbbell Nebula; furthermore, the countless single stars at the edges of globular clusters such as M13 can be distinguished. Planetary observation also offers detailed images of Saturn, Jupiter, Venus and Mars. The optics have a focal ratio of f/5: this is why the telescope belongs to the "fast" Newtonian class. Particularly suitable for astrophotography, it has a light collection capacity equal to approximately 460 times that of the naked eye at an exit pupil of 7 mm.

The mount EQ-3: This equatorial mount offers the ability to precisely align the optics to the Pole Star. For each observation point it is possible to set the correct height of the North Star or amplitude. With micrometric movements in Right Ascension and Declination you can aim and follow precisely objects, while a counterweight ensures correct balance of the optical tube. The EQ3 mount represents one solid base for most lenses, from small to medium sizes and is ideal for wonderful walks in the night sky. For the EQ3 they are available engines for automatic tracking, for which it is possible to do the first experiments astrophotography .
