Flat-Field-Box for astronomical photography

The Lacerta flatfield box is used to create flats, which are necessary for accurate calibration of astrophotos. Vignetting (darker edge) and shadows from dust particles can thus be eliminated. This is not only aesthetically necessary, but just a perfectly flat The image can be stretched so strongly that weak signals are visible.

Neutral and extremely uniform lighting

The Plus Flatfieldbox is newly designed and we used a few tricks to achieve optimal flatfield lighting

• It provides a very colorful neutral light, so the color channels are equally saturated, and this is the ideal basis for a successful apartment.
• Furthermore, the illumination is extremely uniform, even better than EL films or another FFB, which still have weak variations compared to the Surface
• The LEDs do not flash in the mains frequency like EL film, which means that even much shorter exposure times, for example 1/100sec, can be used.
• the new FFBs are only 10% brighter than usual, so they're not too bright for cameras
  Sensitive CMOS and CCD
• The LEDs can be controlled with the optional dimmer or FBC controller, so there are no problems with very sensitive CCD cameras.
• The circular sieve but sturdy foam jig helps mounting on the telescope fitting, just put it over the tube and press gently - the tube end slips on
