Outdoors and in nature there are the best viewing locations and the darkest skies, but unfortunately there are no electrical outlets. Omegon Powertank is the power supply for your telescope. You will no longer be bound to stay on the balcony, in the garden or near an outlet.

For Goto scopes and motorized tracking
The Omegon Powertank is suitable for all motorized telescopes. For Goto telescopes and for telescopes with 12V tracking motors. Place the Omegon Powertank near your telescope. Connect a cable with a cigarette lighter plug. Your telescope can now count on hours and hours of observing.

Powertank tells you what it wants
Four different LED lights continuously inform you about the status of the Powertank. Is it ready to use? The green light turns on. Does it need to be loaded? The yellow light turns on. With a transformer (included in delivery) you can charge the Powertank at any outlet. Since it warns you when it is charged, you can avoid overloads. An instrument that will give you satisfaction for years and years.

Assemble and disassemble in bright light
While you assemble or disassemble the telescope you can count on a beam of light projected by 30 LEDs. While observing, you can use the red light flashlight instead.

Some tips that we suggest you follow to improve the life of your instrument:

Never let the battery run down completely. Switch the mount off a little earlier to protect it from overvoltage.
Do not store batteries discharged.
Do not leave the batteries in the charger for too long, but switch it off as soon as the battery is fully charged.
