Furthermore, instead of the counterweight it is possible to mount a second camera, in order to observe the sky with two different focal lengths. This second chamber can weigh up to3 kilograms .
The mount is designed for the use of the optional hand controlGo2Novaand even for automatic tracking via ST-4 port.
ThereSkyGuider-ProIt is equipped with integrated batterieslithium-polymer , rechargeable via USB.
So that the mountSkyGuider-Properforms correct tracking, its rotation axis must correspond to the Earth's rotation axis. To do this, simply aim at the North Star which, by a quirk of nature, indicates with sufficient precision the pivot of the Earth's rotation on the celestial vault. Aiming is supported by a telescope integrated into the axis of theSkyGuider-Pro , saidpolar finder . This is equipped with a reticleilluminatedwhich allows you to identify the polar star, and therefore to orient yourself easily.
You will probably use the standard tracking speed most of the time, to keep the stars within the field of view. However, it is also possible to set the speed of the Moon or the Sun. In this regard, another option is also very interesting: if you want to photograph both the stars and the countryside, or the houses in the background, you can select half sidereal speed . In this way the stars will remain point-like, without having blurry objects in the background.
For all four types of speed it is also possible to reverse the direction of rotation, so that the mountSkyGuider-Proalso functions in the southern hemisphere . This is an important feature, given that theSkyGuider-Proit's an excellent onetravel mount !
Electronic polar finder:you will never have to bow and crawl under the mount again! With this accessory, you can perform comfortably and witha lot of precisionthe polar alignment of the mount on the screen. The electronic viewfinder has aintegrated camera . It shows you the position of the north celestial pole and the position of the polar axis of the mount on your notebook or PC. Simply bring the two points into alignment using the mount's azimuthal and parallactic adjustment screws - done!
The position of the north celestial pole deviates slightly from the position of the North Star.The electronics calculate the position based on the time and date.Thanks to the camera's sensitivity and large field of view, polar alignment succeeds even with an approximately correct mount.
It also works in the southern hemisphere ! Furthermore, if you are at low latitudes, atmospheric refraction is taken into account.

Seestar S30pro. L'ho preso nonostante avessi un S50, per avere la possibilità di raddoppiare le foto a parità di tempo. Trovo ottima la qualità del sensore e del'ottica per il mio uso amatoriale. L'angolo di visuale (FOV) è più ampio rispetto all'S50 ma dato che il sensore ha risoluzione maggiore (4K rispetto a FHD) la qualità a parità di ingrandimento è molto simile. Il piccolo treppiedi fornito fa il suo dovere ma consiglio un treppiedi più strutturato per la comodità di utilizzo senza accovacciarsi e per un uso più eficace e siuro in accoppiata con i cuneo equatoriale che consentedi utilizzare il modo EQ che da fconsente foto con esposizioni più lunghe e catturando più luce rispetto al modo Atl Az.
