ADC: for sharp planetary photos even on the horizon
Who has never had the opportunity to see Saturn low on the horizon? If you look at it right now with a telescope, you only see a blurry halo. A spot in the sky. It's not worth photographing, because the light refracted by the dense, thick atmosphere produces halos. We would have to wait for the planet to rise higher, but even this is not always possible, due to the orientation of the orbit.
The solution: Omegon ADC! This small device allows for sharp, detailed planetary photos even of objects low on the horizon.
The advantages at a glance:
How a beautiful object is obtained from the dispersion of the earth's atmosphere
When we discover a beautiful celestial object on the horizon, we often see it glow and flicker in different colors. Nice for romantics, but terrible for astronomers, because it means that the star's light is heavily refracted by the dense layer of Earth's atmosphere. Details are no longer recognisable, and the further the object is on the horizon, the stronger the refraction. The blue color is clearly broken down into red. With the Omegon ADC device you transform a planet surrounded by halos into a wonderful object. And above all, the opposing rotatable prisms simulate a type of chromatic aberration of its own, of the opposite sign to atmospheric dispersion, compensating it perfectly.
Three-component structure: ADC with two adapters and tee
The dispersion corrector has a modular structure and consists of three parts:
The assembly couldn't be simpler: This way the ADC corrector can be used on any telescope with a 1.25" or T-2 mount. It can also be used without an adapter. The advantage: the two adapters can be used for other activities, without having to purchase them separately.
Adjustable BK-7 prisms with high light transmission
The two wedge-shaped prisms made of BK7 are equipped with a broadband treatment and guarantee a high light transmission. In the visible light spectrum the ADC device achieves a transmission of 99%, which allows you to always obtain bright planetary images. Using two small levers the prisms move 2.5°, a greater movement than many other models. This way you can progressively adjust the color deviation. The result: an even better dispersion correction - especially with objects on the horizon. Another advantage: the rotatable scale allows you to quickly find the optimal setting for the next observation.
When and on what occasions should I use the Omegon ADC corrector?
The ADC is a specific corrector for planetary observatories and photographers. In the next few years the planets Saturn and Jupiter will be low on the horizon, and therefore without an ADC corrector for a long time you would have to settle for blurry and detail-free planets. This device is essential to avoid the problem. Even professionals have relied on ADC correctors for years, even with large declinations on the celestial vault. In fact, even in these cases chromatic aberrations are neutralized.
Are there other objects besides planets? Some amateurs use the ADC device for observations of double stars. Spotting Sirius-B, the white dwarf in the Sirius system, also becomes easier with an ADC corrector. This is why this device has also found favor with amateur astronomers. Give yourself the opportunity to take perfect planetary photos.

Please note that an exact horizon alignment of the ADC is required for its correct operation!
The use of the ADC depends on the telescope used. For this to work properly, the focal ratio should be less than f/10. This is always the case with SC telescopes, however with other optics the use of a Barlow lens may be useful.
Like Barlow for the ADC we recommend: Omegon Draft corrector for binocular turrets 1.25" 1.6x , or Omegon Draft corrector for binocular turrets 1.25'' 2x.

Materiale arrivato secondo promesse
Materiale perfetto, comprese le scatole originali. Come nuovo.
Seestar S30pro.
