After the great success of the CEM60, ioptron launches a new mount in the same category on the market, even more advanced!
The new CEM70 has the typical appearance of the reliable CEM series mounts, an acronym which stands for center-balanced equatorial mount. the design of these instruments allows a particularly advantageous relationship between load capacity and weight of the mount. in the case of CEM70 this ratio is 2.3: it means that the frame is able to carry more than double its own weight! this is why it proves to be a valid instrument for traveling use, but at the same time also excellent for astronomical observatories.
The stepper motors and toothed belt transmission allow great goto pointing precision but above all extreme tracking accuracy, with a periodic error of less than +/- 3.5 arcseconds - all with the usual, pleasant silence of Typical operation of ioptron mounts.
The mount CEM70 is available in two versions:
in addition to the features already mentioned, the standard version includes:
Integrated iPolar camera. This camera replaces the classic polar scope and allows precise and convenient north alignment via laptop.
Stepping motors (1.8° with 128 microsteps) which guarantee precision in pointing and tracking.
Go2Nova 8407 control panel with integrated heating to prevent the large display from fogging up
32 channel GPS: The computer control always knows where it is and already knows the date and time for goto initialization.
Advanced cabling management with the possibility of connecting accessories.
Bivalent saddle for fitting dovetail slides according to the vixen and losmandy standards. with a 20cm long saddle even heavy optics are safe!
Large knobs and easy to use even with gloves.
Both versions of the CEM70 can be connected to an autoguider via the ST-4 port. thus perfect tracking control is achieved for images requiring long exposure times.
The CEM70G version is additionally equipped with an integrated autoguider, the new iOptron iGuider! therefore it does not require alternative solutions for self-driving!
Also just the version CEM70G provides an integrated WLAN (WiFi) network and a fast USB 3.0 port for communication with an external computer (PC or laptop). Astrophotographers will have great satisfaction from such a powerful working tool as the mount CEM70G , which in terms of load capacity is able to satisfy any desire.
Both versions of the CEM70 are supplied in a sturdy transport case.

Seestar S30pro. L'ho preso nonostante avessi un S50, per avere la possibilità di raddoppiare le foto a parità di tempo. Trovo ottima la qualità del sensore e del'ottica per il mio uso amatoriale. L'angolo di visuale (FOV) è più ampio rispetto all'S50 ma dato che il sensore ha risoluzione maggiore (4K rispetto a FHD) la qualità a parità di ingrandimento è molto simile. Il piccolo treppiedi fornito fa il suo dovere ma consiglio un treppiedi più strutturato per la comodità di utilizzo senza accovacciarsi e per un uso più eficace e siuro in accoppiata con i cuneo equatoriale che consentedi utilizzare il modo EQ che da fconsente foto con esposizioni più lunghe e catturando più luce rispetto al modo Atl Az.
