Like its latest predecessor, the CEM25P model, the new one CEM26 It is designed for ease of use and transportation.
The latest mount from iOptron can handle it up to 12 kg load and offers an extremely favorable weight/payload ratio of 2:6.
Key to this optimized relationship is iOptron's unique "CEM Design" ("Center-Balanced Equatorial Mounts"), which directs the mount's own weight and payload directly to the center of the tripod to create a natural center of gravity.
Based on the previous CEM models, they have been added to the new one CEM26 additional functions to ensure the maximum comfort during use.
A integrated WiFi system is now included, as is a recordable Periodic Error Correction / Periodic Error Correction (PEC) .
In terms of functionality, the CEM26 offers precise pointing and very accurate tracking of selected objects.

The CEM26 is again equipped with the latest Go2Nova® technology , making it one of the most powerful and precise GoTo mounts currently available on the market!
The GoTo software database contains over 212,000 objects . The Go2Nova® portable control unit is intuitive to use and the large 4-line LCD screen makes finding objects incredibly easy, even in complete darkness.
The mount features the integrated iPolar electronic polar finder. The iPolar® finder ensures accurate alignment of the system to the Pole Star, even when it is obscured - a huge relief for any amateur astronomer.
The CEM26 comes with the proven LiteRoc steel tripod stainless and robust transport suitcase in aluminium.

The CEM26EC variant with high resolution encoder (EC) on the right axis (RA axis) brings the accuracy to less than 0.3 arc seconds and thus corrects the helical periodic error in real time!
