Description
Glass length corrector for binocular turrets
Binocular turrets require a certain optical path length. With many telescopes, such as Newtonians or fast refractors, there is not enough travel to use them. The focuser hits the internal stop before the object comes into focus.
Glass length correctors solve this problem
A combination of lenses moves the focal plane even further out, thus allowing almost the entire optical path required by binocular turrets. Straight binocular viewers, such as the wide-field ones from Baader, the Ts etc. Thus, they can be used with any telescope. The elongation factor is approximately 2.3 times.
