The EXPLORE SCIENTIFIC ED special glass trilobe apochromats offer everything that makes the amateur astronomer's heart beat faster - and at a modest price. The three-column construction with Hoya FCD01-ED special glass and two air gaps enables a clearly visible correction above the level of two-language EDs that are otherwise available in this price range.

A computational polystrehl of over 0.9 speaks much clearer language than is possible with two 0.8x objectives. This superior imaging performance combined with solid mechanics results in a package that leaves nothing to be desired. In addition, a Bildfeldebner is available as an optional photography accessory, so that the device can also be used photographically.

The length of the tube has been optimized to be able to use accessories with a critical focus position. All EXPLORE SCIENTIFIC apochromats feature a cavity triplet lens and Hoya FCD-1 specialty glass for superior visual and photographic performance.
