Description
Do you have a Schmidt-Cassegrain, Maksutov or RC system? Then you will have asked yourself this question: How can I collimate my telescope quickly and easily? The ideal would be a collimation that is easy to perform and yet very precise. With an SC telescope, regular collimation ensures good image performance.
Far and wide not a star can be seen
With the Advanced CT laser collimator you can collimate your telescope in a short time and extremely precisely. You will no longer need a clear sky and you will no longer need any stars. This Hotech collimation unit is composed of a viewfinder plate on which three distinct lasers converge. Before collimation, the plate is placed in front of the opening of the telescope. The laser beams hit the main mirror, are reflected and then hit the viewfinder plate.
Directly on site
Leave the telescope safely on the mount. You can collimate both day and night. When night falls, you are already ready. Collimation is very easy and can be performed by just one person. You don't need distances of 20 metres. All you need is the laser collimator, a few meters of space and a great desire to have a well collimated telescope.
The advantages at a glance:
- Possibility of collimating during the day
- No stars are needed for collimation
- All it takes is one person
- Collimation within the focal length of the telescope
- Transportable and easily assembled
