The Omegon Guidescope mount - conveniently mount your guide scope
The Omegon Guidescope mount offers a quick and easy way to mount your guide scope to your main scope. Simply apply this compact component to the Piggyback support of your telescope: in this way you will already have a parallel fixing for the guide. But not only that: thanks to the micrometric movement you can adjust the second telescope, both in height and on the azimuth axis.
Versatility
Have you ever wished you could easily mount your guide scope on other scopes without too much fixing work? If they come with a standard Piggyback adapter for cameras, all this is now possible.
This mount is also excellent when travelling, because it can also be attached to a photography tripod.
Classic GP frame
Searching for and locating a suitable reference star is as easy as adjusting the support rings of the main telescope. The Guidescope mount is equipped with a ¼'' photographic pitch screw for fixing to the telescope; on the top there is a GP/Vixen/EQ-5 dovetail mount. Thanks to a side knob screw, a guide scope weighing up to approx. 1.5 kg can be easily attached.
