Description
Your smartphone and this telescope will now be great friends
Do you feel like taking a trip to the universe? With Push+ Mini everything becomes simple and natural. You don't need to be a super sky expert. Because this telescope takes you to planets, nebulae and star clusters thanks to intelligent push-to technology. Your smartphone thus becomes a command room for the celestial vault.
The Push+ Mini is the smaller version of the PushPlus series. With one big plus: With a 6" telescope you are best equipped for your next vacation, or even just for quick observations when you don't have much time.
The advantages at a glance:
Locating a celestial body takes on a new meaning: with Push+ Objektfinder and your smartphone you will locate any object in the starry vault
Integrated digital encoder: your telescope already knows where it is. Thanks to the software you can follow every movement and locate the celestial object in the blink of an eye.
Wireless connection to your smartphone, thanks to bluetooth 2.0 - with a range of 10 metres
Software: Use the SkySafari® 4 Plus app for Android to operate your telescope
GP mount: mount any telescope equipped with a GP rail
The telescope: parabolic optics with a diameter of 154 mm
The optics with 154 mm tube gives great satisfaction in observation. But the best thing is the parabolic main mirror: with a reflectivity of 94%, it offers you plenty of contrast and ultra-bright images. The additional "94% Enhanced Coating" is not the standard among telescopes. That's why this optic falls into the top-of-the-range category.
For 2" and 1.25" eyepieces
The focuser carries both the large 2" and 1.25" eyepieces. This is an advantage compared to a focuser suitable only for 1.25''. With 2'' eyepieces you can observe deep-sky objects in a large field of view. For 1.25" eyepieces, the integrated 1.25" reducer is used. For each eyepiece size, the focuser has a locking system with a snap ring. The eyepieces are fixed with a full-surface grip.
The equipment in detail:
Main mirror with 94% reflectivity: Brighter images than a standard Newtonian
Can be collimated: thanks to central marking and matching screws
Crayford 2 focuser: for using both 1.25" and 2" eyepieces
"Vixen style plate" 335 mm: to mount the pipe in seconds
46mm Secondary Mirror: This small secondary mirror gives you plenty of shadow-free contrast for visual observation
LED finderscope and 20 mm eyepiece
Digital Encoder: the navigator for your telescope
Never get lost: with the digital encoder in azimuth and altitude you will always know where you are in the sky. This Dobsonian telescope incorporates the technology used in large equatorial mounts; of course, it would all be useless without a good controller - and here it is, in fact, at your disposal…
Smartphone: your way to the stars
With your smartphone, equipped with the Android operating system, you will have everything under control. In fact, using the Sky Safari® 4 Plus astronomy application for Android, your mobile phone will be the telescope's control centre; on the color display you can view the starry sky of the moment, search for objects to observe and point your telescope in the blink of an eye. As you position the instrument in the right direction, you will see the reticle move on the sky chart.
With the right application, everything is very simple
SkySafari® Plus is available for a fee on the Google Playstore. Push+ is not compatible with Apple iPhone or iPad (iOS operating system)
GP graft
The rockerbox is equipped with a mount for Vixen-type GP slides. This means that you can mount most telescopes to the rockerbox via the rail and thus use the Push+ system. Newtonian telescopes up to 8" in diameter ensure optimal operation.
Explore the starry vault with Push+: it will give you the magic touch in the search for celestial objects.
Note: smartphone and application are not included in the delivery.
