The Omegon PD80 panoramic head is the stable base for giant binoculars, spotting scopes and other optics for which a large load capacity is required. It can support heavy tools. Thanks to the lever for rotating and tilting, you can find the object in a few seconds.

The weight of the instrument and a tripod that is too small are often to blame - but also the head. The Omegon PD80 panoramic head can carry instruments up to 10kg. An 80x50mm plate houses the camera, binoculars or spotting scope. The common ¼" screw fits directly onto the instrument. Did you hear the click? Then everything is good and safe! As soon as you insert the plate into the panoramic head, a locking mechanism is activated to ensure that the instrument cannot fall out. One screw on the side allows you to fix the optics during observation.

Once inserted on the panoramic head, the plate is secured by a pin which protects your instruments from possible falls. Thanks to a side fixing screw your optic is anchored and ready to be used.
