The Optolong 82mm Clear Sky filter is used as an anti-pollution filter for 82mm diameter lenses, by applying the filter in front of your photographic lens it is possible to eliminate light pollution due to artificial light and at the same time it is suitable for highlighting nebulae to issue.
It is a broad spectrum filter, it lets almost all wavelengths pass 100% and only cuts the harmful ones.
By applying the Clear Sky filter we will not introduce any color variations or shades in the final result of the images.
The filter is only 1.0mm thick

The Clear Sky filter is compatible with photographic lenses of all brands, the important thing is to know the diameter of your lens, in this case it is possible to purchase photographic adapters for smaller lenses.
Unlike narrower band filters it does not alter the colours; it is particularly suitable if used near cities, suburbs, towns or in the countryside.
The filter is available in two sizes, one with a 77mm thread and one with an 82mm thread; however, thanks to the photographic filter adapters, it is possible to use the Clear Sky filter even with filters with smaller threads, for example 67mm!
