TECNOSKY REFRACTOR TELESCOPE APO AP 70/420 ED V2 OTA

This ED refractor is an ideal telescope for travel and mobile use. The telescope weighs only about 2 kg and is only 30 cm short thanks to the retractable dew cap.

The high-quality 2-element objective provides sharp, high-contrast images and allows for magnification up to approximately 180x. With it you can already observe the details on the planets. The newly developed 2" RAP (rack and pinion) focuser is superior to standard Crayford focusers and holds even heavy photographic accessories in place. The micro-reduction is ideal for astrophotography and allows for precise focusing.

The precise focuser and powerful optics make the 70mm ED a good telescope for astrophotography. Connect your reflex camera or astrocamera to the telescope and start the adventure of astrophotography. To correct the image field for photography of nebulae, star clusters and galaxies (deep sky photography), we recommend correctors:

• TS Optics Field flattener for PhotoLine Apos 72 mm 1.0x Focal length and aperture ratio are not changed. The corrector is ideal for DSLR cameras and CCD cameras with larger sensors. The recommended working distance from the M48 thread is 55mm. The field straightener is screwed directly onto the M54 connection thread of the focuser.
• TS Optics 0.8x 2" Photoline Field Reducer for 80ED f/7 APO This corrector is actually designed for the 80mm f/7 ED. But it also performs well at 70mm f/6. The focal length is reduced to 336mm and the speed increases to f/4.8. A working distance of 63mm is recommended to improve the correction factor. Adapting a DSLR camera is easy, all you need is an 8 mm T2 extension tube (TS Optics T2 Ring Extension, 8 mm light path) and the matching T2 ring.

TS Optics Universal Finder Base This viewfinder shoe fits directly onto the focuser. Only one of the two M4 blind screws needs to be unscrewed here. The front sight rail is then fixed with an M4 countersunk screw.

The flexible plate at the base makes it easy to assemble. You can mount the refractor like spotting scope or telephoto directly on photo tripods. With the matching dovetail bars you get a stable attachment to alt-azimuth and equatorial mounts.
