Description
Sharpstar hyperboloid Astrograph with 150mm aperture and f/2.8
These astrographs are perfectly adapted to the modern needs of digital astrophotography. Unlike simple Newtonian coma corrector telescopes, TS hypergraphs have a hyperbolic primary mirror and a specially designed corrector in the focuser. This results in a perfectly corrected 45mm diameter image circle, with a space-optimized design and a moderate 70mm diameter secondary mirror. At the same time, the image quality is so high that even modern astrocameras with a very high resolution can be used. The advantages and features of the Hypergraph TS at a glance:
♦ Optics optimized for astrophotography, with high resolution over the entire usable image field.
♦ Carbon tube for significantly better focus stability than a metal tube. Refocusing after temperature changes can be omitted. Images become sharper.
♦ The secondary mirror is installed with the necessary offset, the illumination of the field is more uniform.
♦ Despite the extreme focal ratio the telescope is good at collimating and maintains collimation well even during transport.
♦ Microfocusing is already integrated, this is necessary with the extreme focal ratio of f/2.8
♦ High-quality CNC tube rings and a GP / Q5 dovetail bar are included in the scope of delivery Carrying handle with support area for a slide
♦ search Easy adaptation of the camera via the thread of
♦ M48x0.75 focuser connection. The working distance is 55mm.
Easy camera connection via focuser thread
When dealing with such highly resolving and fast optics, a threaded camera connection is required. In this way, skewed and therefore unsharp stars at the edge are avoided. The R&P 2.5" focuser has, in addition to the M63x0.75 female thread, an M48x0.75 male thread. The working distance to this thread is perfectly 55 mm. This corresponds, for example, exactly to the distance required by a SLR camera and the corresponding adapter T. Thermal imaging cameras, such as those from ZWO, are also already supplied with an adapter kit for M48 which takes this distance into account.
This is how we deliver Hypergraph:
The hypergraphs must undergo a complete optimization and check at Teleskop-Service after transport. We have to invest several hours of time in each telescope, only in this way will you get a working telescope. The individual steps are:♦ Removing the main mirror cell and tightening all screws, as they are usually loose.
♦ Optimize the fit of the main mirror in the cell - not too tight and not too loose.
♦ Cleaning the main mirror and the inside of the tube.
♦ Focuser control and optimization
♦ Collimation of the entire system and verification of stability
♦ collimation Creation of the manufacturing protocol and preparation for shipment.
