The enclosure of the HEM44 is made from CNC machined metal which is not only aesthetically pleasing, but also provides a sturdy base that will perform at a high level for many years.

A HEM mount has an internal cable management system. To avoid damage to the cable, a mechanical stop is implemented on the RA axis to prevent rotation more than 360 degrees. Due to the powerful strain wave gear torque in these mounts, damage to the stopper can occur if:

1.) "Site and time" are set incorrectly and
2.) The mount is started from an incorrect zero position.
