Smart and very easy to use
Just turn it on, choose the object to observe via the app and start observing. No laborious alignment procedure to the north pole or knowledge of the sky is necessary.
Seestar orients itself automatically using an internal compass, an accelerometer and plate-solving (recognition of the portion of the sky in the frame). Seestar is controlled wirelessly and intuitively via an app installed on your smartphone or tablet.
The days of tangled cables and bulky external batteries are over.

A feature that overshadows the traditional GoTo! Thanks to the ingenious plate-solving procedure, SEESTAR is able to analyze the stars in the frame in just a few seconds and therefore establish the orientation. In this way every object can be identified and tracked in the night sky with extreme precision, just by pressing a button.

Un mini-telescopio utilissimo nella divulgazione, da affiancare ad altri telescopi visuali, per spiegare come nelle immagini a lunga esposizione si riescano a scorgere i dettagli degli oggetti deboli (nebulose, ammassi o galassie) rispetto a quello che l'occhio riesce a vedere dall'oculare di un telescopio.
Necessita solo di essere messo perfettamente in piano, operazione semplice grazie alla livella integrata nell'applicazione Seestar di controllo del telescopio.
L'applicazione Seestar è ottima: una volta collegata al telescopio, gli passa l'orario e le coordinate del luogo.
Per cercare gli oggetti, si può usare sia la mappa del cielo integrata nell'applicazione oppure i suggerimenti per gli oggetti più belli in cielo nel momento dell'osservazione.
Il rapporto qualità-prezzo dello strumento è ottimo.

Dopo averlo provato, devo dire che sono soddisfatto ( anche se il meteo non è di aiuto) semplice da usare, aggiornamenti costanti (prima di un uscita conviene controllare) e poi divertimento assicurato. ASTROFY è un venditore serio e competente ( grazie Francesco)

Molto buono in rapporto al prezzo. Un sensore con maggior risoluzione non guasterebbe ma non so quanto inciderebbe sul prezzo
